TCPA-Friendly AI Operations Assistant: What Consent-First Actually Means
A TCPA-friendly AI operations assistant is consent-first: she answers inbound calls on your numbers, and she will not place outbound voice or text unless documented prior express written consent is already on file for that contact. Alpine Autopilot installs Anna that way. We do not cold-dial. We do not work murky lists. Documented consent is the gate, not a slogan.
This is mechanism, not legal advice. Ryan Berner Group, a Montana corporation, d/b/a Alpine Autopilot, is based in Kalispell, Montana. The line below is how we build.
What is a TCPA-friendly AI operations assistant?
It is an AI operations assistant that treats prior express written consent as a hard stop, not a setting you can turn down. The inbound call is the phone: Anna answers under your brand, qualifies, handles the questions you already have at the counter, books a live calendar, and hands off when a person should take it. That is what Anna does.
Outbound is a different object. Speed-to-lead and database reactivation are Anna placing the call or the text. Those turns run only with documented prior express written consent. If the record is not there, that contact does not get a call from Anna. The longer reading of the four words sits in what documented consent actually means. The refusal sits in we will not cold-call for you and on compliance.
A vendor who will “just work the list” is not a TCPA-friendly shop. They are a dialer with a landing page.
Does an inbound call get a free pass on consent?
An inbound call is answering a person who already dialed you. Overflow. After hours. The truck on a roof. That is the job on home services and on any trade line we will take. The mechanism note is AI operations assistant for home services.
Speed-to-lead is not inbound. A form hits the board, Anna dials, then texts if the call does not connect. Reactivation is not inbound. A past customer is still outbound if she places the turn. The consent gate applies to outbound. Answering the phone does not magically make a purchased list legal. Voice and SMS stay one spine — same number, same brain — so the opt-out path has one place to live. We do not sell text as a later product.
If you need someone who will ignore that split, we are the wrong install. If you want the gate built in, that is the product.
Why does Alpine decline murky lists and gray campaigns?
Because the exposure lands on the business making the call, not on the vendor who built the dialer.
We decline purchased lists. We decline scraped numbers. We decline “just try a few.” We decline a spreadsheet with no story. We decline a gray campaign that cannot show who said yes, to what, and when. Age matters. A form from a life someone is no longer living is not a file we will point Anna at.
Smaller and clean beats large and murky. We would rather lose the work than hand you a liability with our name on the invoice. That is not a growth tactic. It is the shop.
How is Anna installed under the client brand and numbers?
Anna runs under your brand and your numbers. Callers hear your shop, not a rented pool. Texts show as your business.
A2P 10DLC is filed per client, under that client’s EIN. Alpine does the filing. Messaging sits on your brand. You own the brand identity on the text. The longer version of why that is not a shared vendor registration is register the messaging in your own name. Voice telephony sits on Alpine’s account and is bundled in the monthly fee. You should not have to collect carrier trivia as a hobby.
Recordings and transcripts are available. Disclosures are handled at install, before live traffic. Burn-in is a formal step. She does not take the public line because a slide said launch. Setup is $7,500. The monthly is $1,297 from go-live. Month-to-month after go-live. Numbers live on pricing.
This is the operator model, not a self-serve chatbot signup. The DIY contrast is on Alpine vs DIY. Other managed done-for-you shops are on Alpine vs managed DFY.
If that is the install you want, book a call. Hear a demo at 406-571-8620. Bring the consent file. Intake is where we decide whether to build.
This is not legal advice. It describes how Alpine Autopilot builds and operates a consent-first AI operations assistant. TCPA, A2P, and consent obligations belong to the business sending the message. Have your own attorney review your program.
