AI voice disclosure on a business line

· Ryan Berner, Founder, Alpine Autopilot

Anna says who she is. That is not a slogan we added for this post. It is already how we describe the line: she answers, she can pause, she hands the call back, and she does not pretend to be a person. Alpine Autopilot installs that disclosure with the rest of the build.

This is mechanism, not legal advice. Ryan Berner Group, a Montana corporation, d/b/a Alpine Autopilot, is based in Kalispell, Montana. Have your own attorney review your program.

What is AI voice disclosure here?

It is the caller knowing they are talking to Anna, an AI operations assistant under your brand, not a person who forgot to say their name. We set the words at intake. We test them in burn-in. We do not wait until a caller asks “are you a robot?” and hope the prompt holds.

An inbound call is still inbound. Someone dialed you. Anna answers on your numbers. Disclosure does not turn that call into outbound. Outbound is a different object: speed-to-lead and reactivation still run only with documented prior express written consent. The consent-first reading is on the TCPA-friendly assistant note and on compliance. This post is the disclosure split, not a second copy of that consent post.

Does disclosure replace a recording notice?

No. Recordings and transcripts are available. Disclosures for recording are handled at install, not as a surprise after go-live. That sentence already lives on the compliance page. We are not inventing a new recording product here. We are saying the recording notice belongs in the same install packet as the AI-voice disclosure.

If a caller asks for a person, she can transfer or take a message. That handoff is part of the build. Disclosure is not a trick to keep someone on a machine they did not want.

What we will not claim

We will not claim a federal rule date we have not already published on this site. We will not claim a carrier-attestation program we have not already described. We will not paste a testimonial. We will not quote a pickup rate.

We will say the operator lives with the same rule. Ryan Berner is a licensed Montana Realtor. Anna answered his own real estate line first. She still answers it. She still says who she is.

Setup is $7,500. The monthly is $1,297 from go-live. Month-to-month after go-live. Numbers live on pricing. Hear a demo at 406-571-8620. If you want the install, book a call.

This is not legal advice. It describes how Alpine Autopilot builds AI voice disclosure and recording notice into an install. Consent, disclosure, and recording obligations belong to the business on the line. Have your own attorney review your program.

FAQ

From this piece

Straight answers. No theater.

Does Anna pretend to be a person at a front desk?

No. She says who she is. Disclosure language is set at install, not as a surprise after go-live.

Is this the same as the consent-first outbound rule?

No. Saying who she is on the inbound line is disclosure. Outbound still requires documented prior express written consent. Both are true. They are not the same object.

Are calls recorded?

Recordings and transcripts are available. Disclosures are handled at install. That is already how we describe the line on the compliance page.
